ChristmasVille in Rock Hill

We had SUCH a fun time at ChristmasVille this past weekend.  We decided to partake in an activity every day while our fun lil small town festival was here.

Friday night we went to the parade and boy, was it chilly!  I knew we'd need thick coats, gloves, hats and blankets and it's a good thing we brought them.  Stella was bundled up like a little Eskimo.
This is my fave pic and it totally captures her excitement when she saw her favorite float in the parade...

...it was Doh-dah (aka Dora), Boots, Diego, the Yo Gabba Gabba characters and Elmo - all of which are her favorite characters!!  You would have thought she won $1 million!  LOL

We had a great time and Stella loved seeing all the floats and hearing the bands.  Even though she loved the Dora float, and it was probably her favorite, she still got excited when she saw Santa being pulled by a HORSE!  She loves horses so this was the perfect ending to the parade!

Saturday, they had a horse show at the festival.  I knew Stella would really love this so we got all bundled up again and headed downtown Rock Hill.

What a sweet lil face!  Hope she's not getting any crazy ideas and is gonna ask Santa for a horse for Christmas! ;)

On Sunday, our friends, the Lackores, came from Columbia to spend the day with us and we headed back to ChristmasVille.  Of course this is the one day I forgot the camera. :(  These are a few pics from my camera phone - not the best quality but at least I got some pics.
I thought Stella was going to be afraid of the characters but she wasn't - at all!  She wanted to kiss them and give them high fives.
We went to the new Main Street Children's Museum and even though Stella got a sneak peek on Thursday, she was still in awe when we arrived on Sunday.  She made sure to have a snack and tea with daddy. ;) Daddy was a good sport!
And she LOVED ringing the bell!
Stella and Chappell (actually, all of us!!) had so much fun seeing different characters and playing in the new Children's Museum.  Stella loves her BF, Chap, and we can't wait to see them again soon!

What a fabulous and fun weekend we had as a family!  I'm so thankful that Kyle is home now to experience all these fun things.  I really can't imagine what our life would be like if he was still coaching.  We're looking forward to enjoying more memories this holiday season.  Merry Christmas to all!
